Books Before BasketBall

Books before Basketball is our newest initiative, which targets children in grades 6th-8th in the city’s west and south side neighborhoods. This program takes place once a week, directly after school for a duration of 2 hours at each participating elementary school/ We merge both an academic and sport component as to give the students an opportunity to fulfill their educational responsibilities. The schools and dates are as follows:

Earle Elementary: Nov 18 - Jan 27th, 4:15PM-6:15PM (Break on 1/20)

Jensen Elementary: Nov 25th - March 30th, 4PM-6PM (Breaks on 1/20,2/17)

Powell Elementary: Dec 5th - Jan 30th, 4PM-6PM

Spencer Elementary: Jan 9th - April 30th, 4PM-6PM (Break on 4/9)
